Current Research Projects

In the various fields of advanced technology, KAST provides flexible projects to promote innovative researches that will lead to the creation of new technologies.

Research Projects is carried out within a fixed period KAST has adopted a Advanced Research Project system in which the term of the research projects is fixed at three or five years.

Open invitations of creative research proposals KAST openly invites creative research proposals. After coordinating and reviewing the opinions of external experts, KAST determines new research projects.

Participation by young specialists By recruiting active researchers at a high-level as project leaders who are younger than 46 years, KAST is encouraging the vitality of young researchers and is supporting originality and the free rein of the project leaders.
